Spent the whole of my yesterday and today reading #dayrehorror and I have decided to share some of my own experiences. 😁
Here we go!
During my Poly year 2, I planned a class outing at East Coast Park since I was the class treasurer and it was our final semester together before we were split up into different classes due to the specialization we chose. I decided to book a Chalet since some of them wanted to stay overnight after the BBQ outing.
On the actual day, I checked-in early with my friend, D, so that the rest of our classmates would be able to put their belongings in the chalet before going for cycling or setting up the BBQ pit. After getting the key, we headed to the chalet which is located at the corner of the resort. The chalet was pretty old. The door was kind of broken so we had a hard time trying to slide open the door.
(Sorry for disappearing. Was exploring Chinatown. Will post photos of my Chinatown trip tomorrow.)
It took us a while before we managed to slide open the door wide enough for people to slip through.
As we entered the living room, the place looked as if no one have used it for ages. D went to check out the fridge while I tried to explore the 2nd floor.
As soon as I stepped on the flight of stairs, I immediately have this uneasy feeling. Random thoughts ran through my mind and I decided to wait for D to explore the 2nd floor.
After D checked the fridge, she joined me as we climbed up the stairs before reaching the 2nd floor. The stairs was pretty narrow and at the end of the stairs was a door that leads to the only bedroom in the chalet.
We stepped into the bedroom and to our surprise, it looks cleaner, brighter and way newer than the 1st floor.
The strange feeling was weaker than the feeling I felt when I was climbing the stairs. I did not told D yet so that she will not be frighten.
I turned on the air con so that the bedroom will be cooler once we return from our activities. After turning on the air con, we locked up the place and headed over to the BBQ pits where some of our classmates have started setting up the pits. As soon as I saw the rest of the classmates, I placed that memory of me experience the strange feeling aside.
We had fun until night time before we made our way back to the chalet. By then, it was close to midnight when around 10+ of us gathered at the bedroom. One of my classmates started to share his Army ghostly encounter and the rest of us were listening intensively. Suddenly, the corner of my eye caught a lady in red standing outside of the door as the door was half open.
There is a saying that those kind of stuff likes to join in when people talks about ghost story. I guess she wanted to listen to the ghost story as well? Minutes later, she disappeared. I didn't tell my classmates about it and headed down to the 1st floor and joined some of my friends who where at the 1st floor watching TV.
The Street Lamp
Half an hour later, everyone went to sleep while the two of my friends, J and JY, couldn't fall asleep. We played UNO until 2am before J decided to sleep, leaving JY and I staying awake.
The two of us decided to cycle and talked about all kinds of stuff. We kept cycling forward from area D all the way until area E (near OBS I think) when the street lamp shut off as soon as we cycle past it. JY didn't notice it. Only I did.
I thought that the street lamp was probably faulty or something so I ignored it. We continued to cycle side by side and talked about all kinds of stuff.
When we were only a few lamps away from area F, the street lamp towering above us suddenly turned off as soon as we were directly underneath it.
This time round, JY noticed it and stared at me in horror. What made matter worse was, the whole of area F was pitch black! None of the street lamps in area F was lighted.
JY immediately asked if I wanted to make a U-turn. I nodded my head and the two of us raced back to the chalet as faster as we could. He was pretty much shaken by the incident and he told me he felt a faint evil feeling in the air when we were meters away from area F.
JY used to be someone who doesn't believe in those things until that ECP incident. I guess everyone needs to experience it at least once to believe in it? 😂
Hope the story of my ghostly encounter isn't boring for you since it is so long winded. Thank you to the those of you who camped. I really appreciate it.
