Today in my CG sharing, my CG leader shared about the important of 'will'.

"A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls" Proverbs 25:28.

He shared with us a story about a cookie being placed in front of each child. The child were told that if they eat the cookie half an hour later, they will be given another cookie. Most of the children eat the cookie immediately. Those who have stronger will to resist will often succeed on life.

How many people can run 2km straight after they wake up? However, if you wake up everyday at 5am or 6am to go to school or work, you will automatically wake up at 5am or 6am although you can sleep as much as you want during the weekend. This is due to habit. If we have a strong will and force ourselves to do something that we are lazy to do (or other factors) but it good for us, it will become a habit one day which will really benefit us.
